MNJ Technologies is a midmarket-focused IT solutions and managed service provider. It has been selected by Crain’s Chicago Business as one of the 2021 Best Workplaces in Chicago. This annual program recognizes 100 organizations from the seven-county metropolitan region for their excellence in creating a positive work environment.
Crain’s and Best Companies Group conducted weighted surveys among employees and employers to determine the winners. 75% of the score is determined by employee responses regarding their workplace experience and corporate cultures. The remaining 25% of the score is determined by employer information regarding workplace policies, practices, and demographics. Crain’s will publish the final rankings next month, with a breakdown according to company size.
This was the second MNJ award in the last week. MNJ awarded the company an Annual Award for Business Excellence (AABE), which was presented by the Daily Herald Business Ledger for its business achievements, growth, and community involvement in 2020. MNJ was also recognized in the 2020 Top Places to Work in Illinois competition in May. This statewide program is also sponsored by Daily Herald Business Ledger.
Susan Kozak (CEO and co-founder of MNJ Technologies) stated that “we have put an increasing emphasis on talent and corporate culture over these past few years, including overhauling the commission and health insurance plans. We also established mentoring programs. Workshops to help employees determine their life goals. We also run remote events throughout pandemic to keep everybody connected.” Crain’s has recognized MNJ Technologies for its employee engagement and double-digit revenue growth every year since 2017. We are proud to offer a great workplace. It’s also gratifying to see the data-based analyses that Crain’s conducted to prove that we rank among the top employers in Chicagoland.
The complete list of Crain’s Best Places to Work in Chicago finalists, in alphabetical order, is posted at ChicagoBusiness.com/BestPlaces2021. The final rankings will be published online on April 9, as well as at an event in print on April 12.
